The Pakistan Welfare Association (PWA) was founded in 1962 by community activists in Southampton. Initially operating from members' homes, the PWA was established to address the exclusion and challenges faced by the Pakistani and Kashmiri communities in areas such as health, housing, education, and employment. The association is committed to providing social, welfare, and educational services to the general public, with a focus on advocating for positive social change. The PWA is currently seeking a permanent community center to further develop and support the community.
