    Business Description

    The Orkney Fossil and Heritage Centre is a hidden gem on the island of Burray, housing an intriguing collection of fossils from Orkney and around the world, including rare and beautifully preserved specimens. The museum collection was donated to the people of Orkney by local builder Leslie Firth, who started collecting after finding fossils at Cruaday Quarry. In addition to the fossil collection, the Centre also features local heritage displays, including exhibitions about Scapa Flow's wartime history. Visitors can also enjoy the Heritage Tearoom next door, serving drinks, cakes, and light food.
