After a major 18-month restoration programme in 2010, the building has been restored to its former glory and now operates as a pub restaurant, serving fresh food, cask ales, and wine in a welcoming, buzzy atmosphere. The renovation has transformed the building from a state of advanced dereliction to a grand 1656 inn with oak panels, a carved fireplace, a cosy bar, and a modern European menu in an annexe.
