Business Description
Upstart is a two-week placement program at Nottingham Playhouse designed for Year 10 and 11 students interested in gaining practical experience working in a theatre. The program offers 12 places, 10 for performers and 2 for stage managers/designers, where students work together as a small theatre company to produce a short play. The program is open to students attending schools in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, with application forms sent to schools and shortlisted candidates offered auditions or interviews. Upstart runs twice a year, in July and December, and interested students should contact their school's Work Experience Co-ordinator for more information.
