    Business Description

    The Northampton & Lamport Railway is a steam and heritage diesel tourist/museum railway located just 5 miles north of Northampton in the Northamptonshire countryside. With approximately 1½ miles of running track for passenger services alongside the Brampton Valley Way, visitors can ride on steam and diesel trains and also walk along the former line to watch the engines in action. The railway has been totally rebuilt using volunteer labor and funding from donations and fundraising since its closure by British Rail in 1981. The attraction is open on Sundays and operates from March to October, offering a wide range of events using both steam and diesel engines.
