North Coast Glass Co. was founded by Brodie Nairn and Nichola Burns, who met while studying at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen, Scotland. After further studies in glass at the International Glass Centre in England, they pursued their passion for glass through apprenticeships with leading contemporary glass artists in Europe and the U.S. With established reputations as independent glass artists in Europe, they established their studio and gallery in Tain, Scotland in 2005. Their two children, Ruby and Angus, also have a passion for glass, with Ruby aspiring to be a glass designer and Angus a glassblower. North Coast Glass Co. offers contemporary glass from the Highlands of Scotland, showcasing Brodie and Nicky's distinct styles.
