Business Description

The National Museum of the Royal Navy was established in 2009 to serve as a single non-departmental public body for the museums of the Royal Navy. With venues across the United Kingdom, the museums showcase the history of the Royal Navy operating on and under the sea, on land, and in the air. The museum offers a variety of attractions, including HMS Warrior, HMS Victory, HMS M33, and other exhibits at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, as well as aircraft at the Fleet Air Arm Museum in Yeovilton, and HMS Caroline in Belfast. The museum also offers membership for those interested in maritime adventures. The National Museum of the Royal Navy has a rich history, stemming from the opening of The Dockyard Museum in Portsmouth in 1911, and has since expanded to include The Royal Navy Submarine Museum and Explosion! Museum of Naval Firepower in Gosport. The museum offers a wide range of naval history and interactive exhibits, including a helicopter simulator and a focus on Horatio Nelson.
