Mr Bongo

Mr Bongo started as a small record shop in London in 1989, specializing in vinyl releases from independent hip hop labels and classic Latin music. Over the years, they moved locations, expanded to Japan, and eventually closed their shops in 2003. Now, they have a recording roster featuring Brazilian, Latin, reggae, African, and Jazz music, as well as a world cinema venture. They also have a publishing arm that produces and licenses music for third parties. In 2011, they ventured into feature film production and theatrical releases.
