Moseley Community Development Trust

Moseley Community Development Trust is seeking support to fundraise and organize the Christmas Lights switch on event in Moseley. Due to budget cuts, Birmingham City Council no longer funds Christmas lights for districts outside the City Centre. The group aims to create a vibrant atmosphere for the festive season, increase footfall in the area, and provide a free and fun community event. They are seeking to raise approximately £12,000 to cover the costs of the event, including Christmas lights, energy consumption, insurance, and activities. The project is being driven by volunteers within the community, and Moseley Forum is handling the financial side of things. The community is coming together to keep the Christmas spirit alive in Moseley and create a sense of pride and community.
