The restaurant, bar, and private room opened in October 2013 and is a collaboration between Neil Borthwick, Angela Hartnett, and the founders of the Canteen chain. With its central location in Shoreditch, Merchants Tavern is a pedigreed modern European restaurant and bar, offering a French, Spanish, and Italian dining experience in a former Victorian warehouse.
