After increasing the number of bees and making beekeeping equipment, the business is now looked after by Eric, Johnathan, and Mark Hiam. With approximately 1000 hives of bees in standard National hives around Hereford, Worcester, and Gloucestershire, Maisemore Apiaries' hives are used for pollination of fruits and arable crops as well as honey production. The business is based in Maisemore, Gloucester and supplies all of the UK, Ireland, and the world. The shop is full of practical and essential beekeeping equipment and is open six days a week with a beekeeper available to answer questions. Maisemore Apiaries has transitioned to a click & collect service, allowing customers to order online or by phone for next day collection after 10am.
