Live Inclusive

Live Inclusive, formerly known as The South Yorkshire Centre for Inclusive Living (SYCIL), is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee that is firmly rooted in the Disability Movement. Their well-developed ethos is grounded in the Social Model of Disability, and they work to enable Disabled people to explore opportunities that lead to independence, choice, and control over their lives. Live Inclusive offers a range of integrated services, including the Independent Living Unit, Falls support service, IT Training and Support, Maintaining Independence Service, Advocacy, Health Improvement, Training and Education, and Consultancy. They have a membership structure that is fully accountable to their members, and their work and development are informed by Disabled people. Live Inclusive's services are open to anyone who defines themselves as a Disabled person, including those with physical, sensory, intellectual, psychological, emotional, or hidden impairments. Their strategic aims include widening understanding of the needs of Disabled people and ensuring they have the capacity to achieve their mission and objectives.
