Little Angel Theatre is London's only purpose-built puppet theatre, founded in 1962 by John Wright. The theatre creates shows celebrating puppetry that travel nationally and internationally, as well as hosting visiting shows. The workshop next to the theatre is where all the puppets are lovingly made by puppet makers for the shows, making it a center for excellence in puppetry. Little Angel Theatre is dedicated to creating and sharing inspiring stories through puppetry, and is also committed to working with its local community to break down barriers to arts engagement. With an intimate 100-seat theatre and puppets made in adjoining workshops, Little Angel Theatre is known as "the Home of British Puppetry" and is one of only three building-based puppet theatres in England.
