e BID now has a dedicated manager and social media officer, and is currently in year 2 of its 5 year development strategy. With over 200 BIDs across the UK, businesses are able to work together to implement projects and improvements they desire. Since the passing of legislation in 2004, BIDs have empowered businesses to manage their own trading environment, resulting in increased footfall figures year on year. Lichfield BID is the first BID in Staffordshire and aims to continue its success in enhancing the city centre for both businesses and visitors.
