Lepra

Lepra is a charity dedicated to fighting leprosy, a disease that affects over 600 people daily, with more than 50 being children. The organization works directly with communities in Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, India, and Mozambique to find, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate those affected by leprosy. They believe that millions of people are living with undiagnosed leprosy and aim to make the disease easily diagnosed and treated by 2020. Lepra's vision is to enable people affected by leprosy to transform their lives and overcome the poverty and prejudice it causes, ultimately creating a world free from leprosy.
