BHA is collaborating with Black & Minority Ethnic (BME) community groups in Manchester and the Wirral to increase awareness of HIV, promote testing, and improve access to sexual health and HIV services. This includes outreach sessions, skills building sessions, production of HIV information materials, prevention campaigns, and distribution of condoms and lubricants. The organization aims to engage with new communities, challenge myths and reduce stigma, engage with faith communities, profile the organization with other services, and explore new opportunities to meet the changing needs of service users. BHA is committed to providing information and advice, reducing barriers and stigma, empowering communities, and offering one-to-one and group support, as well as skills building and training sessions.
