West Yorkshire Playhouse presents a brand new production of The Wind in the Willows this Christmas, a classic English tale of friendship, fun, and adventure for the whole family to enjoy. Adapted by Leeds-born Alan Bennett and featuring a young company of carol singing field-mice, the production is designed by Colin Richmond with additional music by Jeremy Sams and Simon Slater. The show runs for approximately 2 hours, including an interval, and is suitable for everyone aged 7 and over. In addition to producing up to 11 of its own productions each year, West Yorkshire Playhouse also presents touring work and engages with young people, older people, education, and communities through its extensive Creative Engagement work. The playhouse is known for its dynamic theatre productions and supports and nourishes the local creative community through its Furnace strand.
