The venue also boasts the impressive and peaceful ruins of the 13th century Inchmahome Priory on the largest of the lake's three islands. With car parking provided, the fishery is a popular spot for international and national angling competitions, offering tackle shop, tuition, guiding, and friendly fishing leagues.
