Jim Edwards - Studio Gallery

Jim Edwards is a renowned artist known for his depictions of iconic buildings and bridges of the North East. His work falls into two genres, contemporary cityscapes and abstract paintings inspired by manmade forms and buildings, all following a theme of architecturally inspired structures and dominating linear form. His paintings are not studies from life, but rather originate from memory and selective imagination, creating a personal view of the city. In 2015, Jim opened his Studio gallery at 59 Lime Street, showcasing his latest paintings and limited edition prints in a unique space that combines his studio workspace with a gallery environment.
