Jennifer Shufflebotham is a painter whose work focuses on the shifting qualities of memory. She uses found photographic slides from the 1960s as starting points for her paintings, creating new and sometimes abstracted compositions. Her work raises questions about the value of images in a digital age and explores how photographs can replace memories. Her paintings demonstrate a vivid use of color and create scenes where memories slide in and out of focus. Shufflebotham has exhibited her work in various galleries and has received awards for her art. She is currently studying for a Painting MA at Coventry University and has her work displayed at The Pig and Tail in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter.
