Business Description
The International Wildlife Coalition Trust (IWCT) became involved in the illegal dog meat trade in the Philippines in 1998 and established the Animal Kingdom Foundation Inc. (AKF) to address the issue. Together, their aim is to end the illegal slaughter of dogs for human consumption and provide medical care and a safe environment for animals at the Rescue Centre in Capas, with the goal of re-housing them in loving homes. Their mission is to support, protect, and promote the welfare and rights of animals, fighting animal cruelty worldwide and working to protect all wildlife. They strive to rescue, treat, and re-home malnourished, injured, or sick dogs in the Philippines, and donations can make a big difference in the lives of many dogs.
