The International Pole & Line Foundation (IPNLF) is dedicated to advancing socially and environmentally responsible pole-and-line and hand-line tuna fisheries globally. Through practical fishery projects, stakeholder cooperation, and market influence, IPNLF aims to contribute to thriving coastal fisheries and the communities and ecosystems they support. The organization welcomes members from all sectors of the one-by-one tuna supply chain and collaborates with them to demonstrate the value of one-by-one tuna to consumers, policy-makers, and the industry. IPNLF operates at the intersection of science, policy, and the seafood sector, guided by a Scientific & Technical Advisory Committee and Board of Trustees. Established in the United Kingdom in 2012, IPNLF also has a presence in the Maldives and Indonesia.
