reational activities on the smallholding known as Holtwood Community Farm, which is 14 acres of land tenanted from Dorset County Council. The farm was set up in 2010 by Nigel and Vanessa Pritchard, who have lifelong experience in Agriculture and Management. Clients have the opportunity to work with farm and domestic animals, grow fruit, plants, and vegetables, take part in building projects, and engage in social and recreational activities. Clients are referred by Social Services or through private recommendations and attend the farm between one and six days a week, depending on their needs and finances. With high staffing levels, smaller groups and one-on-one support can be facilitated. Interested individuals can arrange a taster session to visit the farm.
