It offers visitors the opportunity to experience and learn about the domestic and working conditions of earlier Highland peoples, from the 1700s to the present day. The museum features over 35 historical buildings and period artifacts, providing a friendly and welcoming environment to explore and discover how Scottish Highland ancestors lived, worked, and enjoyed their leisure time. The museum is set in a beautiful natural setting, home to red squirrels and tree creepers, making it a great day out for everyone. Additionally, there is no entry charge, but donations are welcome. High Life Highland is the company behind the museum, and it is a registered Scottish charity.
