GKKC Club, also known as Gorton Kids Karate Club, was established in 2005 as a partnership between Manchester City Council and Sensei Deborah Jones of the Ken Yu Kai Karate Association. The club offers fun karate and self-defense classes for children aged 5-16, with a focus on promoting self-discipline, motivation, and respect. All lessons are taught by experienced, CRB checked Martial Arts Instructors, and the club has a strong community ethos. Students have the opportunity to compete nationally and internationally, and new students are welcome to try out the first lesson for free.
