General Naturopathic Council

The General Naturopathic Council aims to protect the public from poorly trained practitioners and ensure professional standards and fitness to practice. They are working towards the eventual registration of naturopathic practitioners and maintaining high standards of education. In collaboration with Skills for Health, they have developed National Occupational Standards for Naturopaths and are discussing voluntary self-regulation to enhance the standard of naturopathic education. The GNC also serves as a resource for people seeking well-qualified practitioners.
