The Friends of Hardie Park is a registered charity and community interest company that oversees the development and management of Hardie Park, a community-led family park and open green space. With the guidance of Rob Groves, local residents have taken ownership of the park to enhance it for the benefit of the local community. The park now offers a cafe, play facility, toilets, skate park, petanque rink, trim trail, BMX track, and meeting room for clubs and groups, as well as a cycle hub. The site is run by a board of trustees and operates as a not-for-profit organization. Hardie Park is registered as charity number 1172078.
