Five Sisters Zoo is a family-run establishment with over 180 different species of mammals, birds, and reptiles from around the world. Visitors can participate in daily animal encounters, feed the lemurs, or even book a day as a zookeeper. The zoo also offers free daily keeper talks and various new areas to explore, including a walk-through bird aviary and a large indoor reptile house. With a focus on accessibility and inclusivity, the zoo provides a large outdoor play area for kids, a picnic area, cafe, and gift shop, all on one level with disabled access and facilities. Additionally, the zoo has recently added an indoor soft play area and large restaurant for visitors to enjoy. As a non-profit organization, all proceeds are reinvested into the zoo for animal upkeep and maintenance.
