The EMI Music Archives is a charitable Trust with one of the world’s largest and most diverse music and technology archives. It celebrates the history of the famous EMI Group of companies and their predecessors, dating back to 1877. In addition to musical heritage, the archive also preserves artefacts related to EMI’s achievements in electrical engineering. The Trust’s assets are stored in a purpose-built archive in Hayes, Middlesex and are made accessible to the public through loans to museums, exhibitions, and media appearances, as well as availability to researchers and the public upon request.
