Business Description
The Dufftown Whisky and Heritage Centre offers Scottish country dance classes every Tuesday between January and April, and at the end of September and December. Junior classes are at 7pm, while adult classes are from 7:30-9:30pm. Summer socials are held on the first Tuesday of each month between May and September, with junior classes at 7pm and adult classes from 7:30-10pm. Old time dancing socials take place on the last Wednesday of each month from January to November, from 7:30-10pm. The classes and dances are led by qualified RSCDS teachers at the Mortlach Memorial Hall in Dufftown, offering fun, fitness, and friendship. Additionally, the Whisky and Heritage Centre provides valuable tourism information and insights into the history of Dufftown and the distilling process on Speyside. With six working distilleries, Dufftown is known as the Malt Whisky capital of Scotland, and the Heritage Centre offers a unique look into whisky and the people who create it.
