Business Description

Descartes Systems UK Ltd is a leading supplier of Customs and freight management software in the UK. With over 30 years of experience, the company's Impatex division pioneered 'Intelligent' DTI and is the primary supplier of Customs software to major 'Corporate' forwarders and hundreds of SMEs using its Customs Manager software. In addition, the company offers NetFreight, a leading freight management software that includes warehouse management, CRM, and links to both UK and US Customs. With the increasing harmonization of Customs procedures across Europe, Impatex has developed a new multi-country, multi-lingual Integrated Customs for Europe (ICE) software package specifically designed for larger multi-national 'Corporate' forwarders. As the leading UK Customs software, Customs Manager is gradually being replaced by NetFreight and ICE, both of which link to each other. Based in Southampton, the company provides software solutions to the UK, US, and Europe.
