The Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust is a Registered Organisation with the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists and is one of four Welsh Archaeological Trusts dedicated to protecting, recording, and interpreting the historic environment. They provide advice to local authorities on archaeology and planning, undertake archaeological projects for both private and public-sector clients, and organize community archaeology events and activities. They work closely with other national, regional, and local bodies to fulfill their mission for the whole of Wales.
