Chess in Schools & Communities

Chess in Schools and Communities aims to establish a chess club in every primary school in England and Wales, with the goal of improving academic performance, behavior, and self-esteem. Schools in the public sector are eligible for free weekly coaching, chess sets and software, access to online materials, and opportunities to participate in inter-school competitions. The organization also encourages the incorporation of chess into curriculum time and aims to promote world-class chess events to raise awareness of its educational benefits.
