Established in 1904, the Cherwell Boathouse is a family-run working boathouse and restaurant with 80 handmade punts in the water. The punting season runs from mid-March to mid-October, with the restaurant open all year round and featuring a superlative wine list. The Tea-hut bar and cafe serves light food, snacks, and refreshments throughout the day. The venue also offers a large marquee overlooking the Cherwell, as well as a lower boathouse area for private bookings and events such as weddings, birthdays, and corporate entertainment. The Cherwell Boathouse is an iconic Oxford punt station, restaurant, and events area, offering al fresco dining, private parties, and corporate events, as well as punts for hire.
