    CTM Performance Engineering was founded in 1985 by Charlie Mahoney, who had been working at Burton Power since 1973. Initially focusing on high performance cylinder heads for Fords, CTM expanded its services over the years to include all aspects of engine modification and general engineering work. In 1990, the company acquired Burton Power's engineering workshop, allowing for further expansion. By 2004, CTM had outgrown its premises and moved to its current location in Wantz Road Dagenham, where it continues to provide high quality performance engineering services.
