British Fashion Council

The British Fashion Council (BFC) is a not-for-profit organization based in London, formed in 1983, and funded by industry patrons, commercial sponsors, and government support. It leads the industry through creative influence and is strategically repositioning British fashion in the global fashion economy. The BFC has five strategic pillars and showcases the best of British fashion design to an international audience through events such as London Fashion Week and London Collections: Men. The BFC also provides support initiatives for designers at various stages of their businesses and owns charities including the BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund and the BFC Fashion Trust. The BFC strengthens British Fashion in the global economy as a leader in responsible, creative businesses, through championing diversity and building an industry network.
