The Brighton Centre is the largest conference and exhibition centre in southern England, with a capacity to accommodate up to 5,000 delegates. In addition to hosting conferences for British political parties and other national bodies, the venue is also used for weddings, banquets, and live music events. The venue was opened by former prime minister James Callaghan in 1977 and is located on the seafront in Brighton.
