Business Description
Bridge Lane Bakery was originally built as a church and temperance hall, and later converted into a theatre in 1982. The venue, managed by the United Reformed Church and later by Bridge Lane Theatre, hosted a variety of well-reviewed productions until its demolition in 2002. Despite the unremarkable design, the theatre saw performances by renowned actors such as Corin and Vanessa Redgrave. The site was eventually sold for redevelopment after a series of residential applications were refused.
