BrewBoard Limited is the proud owner of BlackBar Brewery, which was founded by owner and Brewer Joseph Kennedy, also known as Brewmonkey. Kennedy's journey into brewing began during his time in Sixth form, when a casual suggestion led him to pursue a degree in brewing and distilling at Heriot Watt University. Following his studies, Kennedy gained valuable experience working at various breweries in Scotland and Canada before founding BlackBar Brewery in October 2011. The brewery officially started brewing on December 31, 2011, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in Kennedy's brewing career.
