Business Description

The Black Country Living Museum is an award-winning open-air living museum that brings the history of the Black Country to life. Visitors can explore an 1850s iron-working town, complete with a coal seam, forge, steam engine, and shops, all brought to life by costumed characters. The museum is currently closed for winter, with plans to reopen on January 23, 2021. The museum is part of a larger 40-year master plan to create a world-class heritage attraction in the heart of the Black Country. Visitors can enjoy funfair rides and freshly cooked chips at Hobbs and Sons or the fried fish shop, and are encouraged to visit from 10am to 5pm to see everything. Cash payments come with a free gift aid pass, allowing unlimited visits for 12 months.
