Anthony K. Shriver is the Founder and Chairman of Best Buddies International, an organization he created in 1989 to promote friendships between people with and without intellectual disabilities. The organization has eight programs that impact nearly 800,000 individuals worldwide and operates in all 50 U.S. states and 50 countries internationally. Best Buddies aims to create opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, and leadership development for individuals with disabilities and those facing isolation and exclusion.
