Business Description

Bedales School, founded in 1893 by John Haden Badley, offers a humane alternative to the authoritarian regimes of late-Victorian public schools. The school prioritizes questioning, divergent thinking, and the freedom to learn from mistakes, while maintaining high standards of behavior and emphasizing collaboration. Located in the South Downs National Park, Bedales is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school with three separate schools for different age groups. The school's educational ethos focuses on educating through head, heart, and hand, nurturing individuality, initiative, and an inquiring mind.
