Basingstoke Mencap

Basingstoke Mencap is a self-governed and managed Registered Charity affiliated with the Royal Mencap Society, providing tailored services to individuals with learning disabilities in the Basingstoke area. The organization offers a variety of weekly clubs and activities, one-to-one support in the home and community, as well as an Aspire Job Club. Funds are raised through various means including support services, grants, donations, and fundraising events. With a team of 7 support workers, Basingstoke Mencap aims to increase the number of support workers by two and support 2 more clients this year. Their diverse client group includes young people, older people, and individuals with mental health issues or physical disabilities.
