Barnbougle Castle is a much-altered tower house on the south shore of the Firth of Forth, between Cramond and South Queensferry. It is the property of the Earl of Rosebery and has a rich history dating back to the 13th century. The present castle is the result of rebuilding in 1881 by the 5th Earl of Rosebery, who served as the British Prime Minister from 1894–1895. The castle has been fully restored and is now a majestic wedding and event venue in Edinburgh, with modern facilities and a stunning location on the shores of the Firth of Forth. It is set within acres of rolling private parkland, with dramatic private beaches framed by enchanting woodlands, making it the perfect setting for a marquee event. The Grand Banqueting Hall and Scottish Library inside the castle offer impressive and exclusive spaces for private or corporate events.
