Business Description

1573 Bar & Grill is housed in the Grade II* listed Old (Free) Grammar School, dating back to 1573, making it one of the oldest school buildings in England. The restaurant offers a fresh dining concept with a menu featuring steaks, seafood, open sandwiches, and fresh salads, all char-grilled to perfection. Chef's specials and promotional offers are available, and guests can enjoy drinks and dining on the terraced area overlooking Highcross. The restaurant, opened in 2009, prides itself on using the best fresh seasonal produce to create no-nonsense grilled steak and fish dishes in a historic 16th-century setting.
