Acacia Family Support was founded in 2004 by Emma and a group of friends who recognized the lack of local support services for women experiencing pre- and post-natal depression. Their aim is to improve the lives of mothers and families affected by PND through weekly befriending, sign-posting services, resource libraries, baby massage sessions, free crèche for service users, and a mothers' pamper service. As a Christian charity, Acacia Family Support offers a range of free services to families across Birmingham experiencing pre and postnatal depression/anxiety, and is dedicated to raising awareness and providing support to those in need.
